“Everyone has the right to be themselves in their own space. They can be different, belonging to one, another, or a third nation, but what we must build together is peace in these areas,” said Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska, at the opening of the renovated Arnaudija mosque in Banja Luka.

“We are witnessing a very important thing, that what happened 30 years ago was a mistake. And now we witness that the mosque has been rebuilt, which means that life continues,” Dodik emphasized.

Dodik stated that this beautiful facility will be used by believers and that no one will disturb them in their prayers, both here in Banja Luka and throughout the region.

“The construction of the mosque, as well as our gathering here, is a great success and an example to all, here and beyond, that coexistence and tolerance have no alternative,” Dodik emphasized.

Dodik says that politicians with slightly heated passions are sending various messages these days.

“I will send only one – the only thing left for us is to peacefully live our lives. I will strive to preserve peace and stability, ensuring that everyone has equal rights wherever they live, guaranteed by law, and above all by human relations,” Dodik said.

Dodik expressed his appreciation for today’s gathering, which witnesses success.

“Here, success is not only in construction but also in our gathering, which sends a message here in Republika Srpska, in BiH, and throughout the region. May the mosque bring happiness to you, may it serve for prayerful action, may it serve all good people, regardless of their faith and nationality,” Dodik emphasized.

Approximately six million marks were allocated for the reconstruction of the Arnaudija mosque.
