The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated today that there is no emergency situation in BiH and emphasized that the politics of Republika Srpska do not intend to provoke anyone.

Dodik highlighted that Republika Srpska respects the letter of the Dayton Agreement and there is no plan for secession.

“Nobody is declaring secession, we are not separating in BiH, we entered BiH as Republika Srpska, we do not have a plan for secession, but if all our efforts fail, we have a plan to disengage from the Federation of BiH. We have a relationship with the Federation of BiH which is a party to the Dayton Agreement. If we have anything to discuss, we need to discuss it with the Federation of BiH, not with the institutions of BiH that are derivative,” said the President of Republika Srpska on Face TV.

He emphasized that one cannot hear talk of war from any politician from Republika Srpska, unlike politicians from the Federation of BiH.

Dodik stated that Bosniaks are undermining the Dayton Agreement.

“The narrative created in Sarajevo that we do not respect Dayton is twisted. It is not respected by the Bosniak political structure,” said Dodik.

He stressed that the Serb people do not want to live in a BiH that is outside the constitution and that there is no BiH without Republika Srpska.

“BiH cannot exist without Republika Srpska and that must be respected,” emphasized Dodik.

He mentioned that after the resolution on Srebrenica, nothing will be the same and Republika Srpska will act in its own interest.

Speaking about the economic and political situation in Republika Srpska, Dodik noted that Srpska has dynamics that are not threatened, it leads healthy political processes, and the recent rally in Banja Luka was an indicator of this positive mood.

He mentioned that investments in Republika Srpska are on the rise, factories are opening, and there will soon be new openings.

Dodik added that Republika Srpska has increased its domestic product to 16 billion KM.

He noted that the budget is functioning, investments in Srpska are on the rise, and factories are opening.

“Republika Srpska has dynamics that are not threatened,” highlighted Dodik.
