Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Banja Luka, Nina Sajić, stated for RTRS that the diplomatic visits of the President of Republika Srpska to Russia, Belarus, France, Greece, and the visit of the Hungarian delegation to Republika Srpska are significant in terms of preserving national interests, identity, and territorial integrity.

Sajić believes that the European Union has a different stance towards foreigners in BiH compared to the United States.

“If Schmidt’s impositions are not abolished, Republika Srpska will proceed to enact its electoral law,” claimed Sajić.

Republika Srpska, with its allies, aims to halt the offensive from Sarajevo regarding the Srebrenica resolution, which, according to Sajić, will not bring anything good for BiH.

“Those who proposed the resolution are not at all interested in BiH. The aim is to show the Arab and Islamic world that they are not against Muslims. Serbia and Russia have always stood with Republika Srpska, as our interests have always been nearly identical, and everything will be done to ensure the resolution does not pass. And even if it passes, it is not binding because if it were, it would be presented to the Security Council, where Russia would veto it as in some previous instances,” Sajić elaborated.
