Dodik: In Paris, I Will Clearly State That Republika Srpska Is Not in Favor of Joining NATO

The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, will inform senators in the French Senate about the situation in BiH and the pressures on Republika Srpska and its leadership, and will clearly state that Republika Srpska is not in favor of joining NATO.

Dodik told RTRS that Republika Srpska is neutral and will not join any military alliance.

He stated that he would also inform the senators about the decisions of the false High Representative Christian Schmidt, which have jeopardized BiH’s path towards the EU.

“The role of Schmidt and those who support him – the British, Americans, and Germans – is shameful. They have stopped this path, and it can be resolved by withdrawing those decisions,” emphasized the President of Republika Srpska.

He said that if Schmidt’s decisions are not withdrawn, Republika Srpska will adopt its electoral law and conduct elections.

“I would like our French partners to understand our stance on this,” said Dodik.

Dodik thanked the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, for his concern for Republika Srpska and for clearly stating that Republika Srpska cannot be abolished.

“We want peace, stability, and respect for the Serb national interest, just as other interests are respected. Kosovo and Metohija cannot be taken from the Serbs, and Republika Srpska cannot be undermined,” Dodik stated.

He highlighted that attempts to undermine Republika Srpska are manifested through efforts to seize its property.

During his three-day visit to Paris, the President will also talk with representatives of the Serb diaspora in France, as well as with numerous representatives of public, political, cultural, and economic life in France.
