The first International Fair of Economy “Banja Luka Expo 2024” was visited by more than 15,000 people, and over three days, this event gathered 300 exhibitors from 10 countries.

The president of the fair’s management, Slaviša Kovačević, stated that “Banja Luka Expo” was an opportunity for businessmen from the entire region to exchange experiences, ideas, and visions, as well as a place for networking, cooperation, and forming partnerships, as announced by the Banja Luka IT company “RS Consulting and Trade,” one of the organizers of the economic event.

“This was a modern international exhibition in the fields of construction, metal and electrical industry, wood industry, appliances, IT sector – electronics and robotics, real estate, architecture, and design. Exhibitors from the banking sector, microcredit organizations, insurance companies, and other financial institutions from all over BiH participated as well,” Kovačević said.

The statement mentioned that during the three days of the Fair, panel discussions and conferences were held with more than 30 speakers from the fields of economy and finance, discussing economic regional cooperation, today and in the future.

A current topic was also the development of solar power plant projects, their impact on the carbon footprint, and the energy independence of businessmen.

The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, attended the fair, stating that in today’s world, being part of the real sector is a significant challenge, as the whole world is in chaos and problems due to the recession, and announced that next year’s event would be even bigger and better.

Representatives of numerous organizations, ministries, agencies, and financial institutions attended the event.

Exhibitors presented themselves on more than 15,000 square meters of space in the student campus, of which 6,000 was outdoors.

The “Banja Luka Expo 2024” was organized by Banja Luka companies “RS Consulting and Trade” and “Elite Fair,” with institutional support from the Government of Republika Srpska, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in the Council of Ministers, the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH, the Chamber of Commerce of Republika Srpska, and the city.
