In Banja Luka, a special session of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska will be held tomorrow, as decided today by the Collegium of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska.

The session, starting at 10:00 AM, will have one agenda item – consideration of the current security and political situation in the world from the perspective of repercussions on Republika Srpska – a proposal by the President of the Republic, the President of the National Assembly, the Prime Minister, and the Serbian member of the Presidency of BiH.

The President of the Republika Srpska Parliament, Nenad Stevandić, stated that the agenda and the conclusion on addressing the presidents of parliamentary parties were unanimously adopted.

The Collegium has invited leaders of parliamentary parties to submit their requests to speak for ten minutes each, in accordance with the Rules of Procedure, before the session begins tomorrow.

Additionally, the Collegium approved 30-minute introductory speeches for the proposers of the agenda.

Stevandić expressed that Republika Srpska is firmly committed to fully respecting and literally applying international law and the Dayton Agreement.

He anticipates that tomorrow’s session will achieve consensus, regardless of political disagreements and differences, as this is, according to him, a political moment in which it is necessary to protect Republika Srpska.
