President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik stated today that Bosnia and Herzegovina is not a candidate for NATO membership, nor will it become a member of the Alliance.
“Bosnia and Herzegovina will not join NATO, considering the current procedure and law according to which the Parliamentary Assembly needs to consent based on the majority required for decision-making. Such consent does not exist and will not be given. We remain militarily neutral together with Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina is not a NATO candidate country, nor will it be a NATO member,” Dodik declared.
He reminded of the NATO aggression on Republika Srpska and Serbia, highlighting that depleted uranium was used during the bombing, and women and children were killed.
Commenting on yesterday’s United Nations Security Council session and the rejection of Russia’s initiative to discuss the 25th anniversary of the NATO aggression on the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1999, Dodik said it is very important that such initiatives are presented because one day they will undoubtedly be on the agenda, and it will be confirmed that aggression was committed against the Serbs.
