Our relations with China are an example of true friendly relations and successful cooperation, which we wish to strengthen in the coming period, highlighted the Serb member of the Presidency, Željka Cvijanović.
“I am pleased that Chinese projects in the fields of energy and infrastructure, as well as in culture and education, are being successfully implemented in Republika Srpska,” Cvijanović emphasized in a post on Instagram.
She expressed gratitude to China for its balanced approach towards BiH, protection of the Dayton Peace Agreement in the UN Security Council, and support for dialogue and agreement among domestic political leaders.
She stressed support for the One-China policy, as well as the continuation of cooperation within the 16+1 mechanism and the Belt and Road Initiative.
“Today, we hosted a delegation from the Standing Committee of the 14th National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China at the Presidency, led by Vice President Ji Xiaom,” concluded Cvijanović.
