The President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, stated today that, even before the President of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, called on all those under American sanctions to close their bank accounts and spare them from retribution, he had already done so.

“To delight the Serbophobes, autochauvinists, and neonazis, I had already closed all my accounts before that. In 1942, the Nazis demanded gold from prominent, wealthy Serbs to not kill their children. We have it easier, though!” Stevandić wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Stevandić emphasized that none of the sanctioned officials of Srpska have committed a criminal act and do not have a conviction in any country in the world.

“Now we do not have the possibility to receive a salary. Just to give us visible marks, to recognize us on the street, to put our pictures on bakeries, hospitals… To deprive us of food and treatment. Nazism in 1941 and neonazism today,” Stevandić stated.

The President of Republika Srpska had earlier stated that the US Embassy in Sarajevo and Ambassador Michael Murphy are behind the threats to banks in Republika Srpska, warning they would be sanctioned if they made payments to sanctioned officials of Srpska.
