The trial against the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will expose all the intentions of those who view Bosnia and Herzegovina as a colony. Thus, if observed from a historical and political science perspective, this process will be considered a European model of fighting against colonial administration, stated Miloš Lukić, the acting director of the “Official Gazette”.

Lukić believes that Dodik is not guilty because he signed a decree and acted according to the Constitution, but because he opposed those who want to undermine Srpska and its competencies.

Dodik was recognized by those he opposes as someone who carries that political narrative of struggle – Lukić declared.

As stated in the indictment, Lukić and Dodik are accused of disregarding the decisions of Christian Schmidt, who did not undergo the appointment procedure in the UN Security Council.

  • I am accused because I did my job, and in this indictment, which is quite grotesquely written as the public already knows, it is explicitly stated that I acted in accordance with my authorities. Nowhere does it state that I abused my powers, which often happens in some proceedings – Lukić explained.

Lukić emphasized that the events in the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina have nothing to do with law and justice, and mentioned that he would do everything the same again since he believes it is not possible for the director of a public institution, by doing his job, to block the legislative process.

  • Meanwhile, some decisions came for publication, which the dominant political Sarajevo considered would be committing a criminal act if published, but they were published – Lukić highlighted.

AFTER THE TRIAL AT THE COURT, NOTHING WILL BE THE SAME

The next trial is scheduled for March 6, and both Lukić and Dodik are expected to appear before the court, although the process has been officially separated.

Lukić said that the day is planned for the presentation of witnesses for the Prosecution, namely inspectors from SIPA who were collecting documentation.

  • They are their key witnesses – that speaks volumes about that Prosecution and that paradox. It’s like asking a postman to testify about a document he merely delivered. People came, we voluntarily handed over the documentation to them. So, that March 6 will not be anything spectacular, I’m afraid we will see again in the media from Sarajevo some gloating because the President of Republika Srpska came to court in Sarajevo – Lukić believes.

He stated that with every appearance of representatives of the institutions of Republika Srpska in the Court, there is less and less of Bosnia and Herzegovina and more of Srpska, and emphasized that from all of this, the president of Srpska can only count on greater support from the people.

  • So, whatever the verdict, it will be detrimental to those who have stirred up this mess – Lukić stated.

Lukić said that after this process at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, nothing will be the same, and noted that Dodik, by acting in accordance with the Constitution and law, has completely exposed the colonial administration in Bosnia and Herzegovina to the whole world.

  • As this process progresses, which I’ve mentioned before, there’s increasing nervousness observed in the Prosecution and those politically on the other side, while from us in Republika Srpska, there’s increasing composure throughout the process. We know where we are going and where it will lead us. So, many things will not be the same, precisely because in this case, quite a lot of value-important matters for our society are being broken – Lukić stated.

MURPHY AND SCHMIDT MANAGE THE POLITICAL SYSTEM IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA AND SARAJEVO

Lukić highlighted that the political system in Bosnia and Herzegovina is detached from reality, namely, a system led by the American ambassador Michael Murphy, with Christian Schmidt serving in his function, who presents himself here as the high representative, and it was seen that there is a desire to break anyone who politically opposes them.

In this case, it was President Dodik, who is indeed the exponent of those values that are opposed to the collective West represented here by the American ambassador. I think that on that value basis, this is an important process – said Lukić.

He assessed that, if viewed from a historical and political science perspective, this process will be considered a European model of fighting against colonial administration.

SERVING FOREIGNERS IS DETRIMENTAL TO BOSNIAKS

Lukić noted that it is absurd for a foreigner to enter a country at some border crossing, proclaim a law, and then charge someone for not respecting that law.

  • It is concerning that representatives of political Sarajevo applaud such moves – Lukić pointed out.

He assessed that this is a turning point where the West has assessed that this is the last moment in which they can break the backbone of Republika Srpska because geopolitical processes are changing, and they see that they are losing power at many points in the world.

  • One of them is Republika Srpska. So, many things will not be the same, but all things that happen will work in favor of Republika Srpska and our society – Lukić emphasized.

Lukić believes that every voter in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) who voted for politicians who now follow the opinions of foreigners must question whether they elected someone to run the country or to be an exponent of some foreigner’s policy?

DODIK IS A TARGET OF THE WEST, SRPSKA IS STABLE DESPITE PRESSURES

Lukić emphasized that the West did not randomly choose President Dodik as a target because they see him as the bearer of political struggle that does not conform to their standards.

He explained that this is what Serbs carry through history, something that is part of the Serbian identity.

  • We had the First Serb Uprising, but its personification was Karađorđe. Karađorđe had to be killed for the First Serb Uprising to end. In their history, this might not be so present, and they do not understand it. And that’s why they see Milorad Dodik here as someone around whom all the people who do not think like them have gathered, thinking Dodik is someone who needs to be removed. On the other hand, practically speaking, that is indeed the case – Lukić told Srna.

Lukić pointed out that, despite these pressures, the economic situation in Republika Srpska is stable.

  • The time of blackmail has passed, and today it is much easier to start cooperation with countries and business partners than it was two decades ago – Lukić noted.

He pointed out that they have now realized that they can no longer use these economic blackmails to direct and blackmail Republika Srpska.

  • Because Republika Srpska, as we see, has economic partners in other parts of the world, and therefore they have realized that they need to “cut off the head” to adapt the whole body to what is their interest – Lukić concluded.
