Dodik after Meeting with Putin: Russia Does Not Abandon Its Friends

The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated to RTRS after the meeting with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, that attention and patience have been shown towards the position of Republika Srpska over the years, and that Russia does not abandon its friends.

“Every time, it’s a special event. I think that a small Republika Srpska manages in this way to draw attention to what it is. It’s not easy. Today, Russia and President Putin are among the most important global people and leaders,” Dodik said.

He emphasized that attention and patience for the position of Republika Srpska have been shown throughout these years.

“I believe for over 15-20 years, as long as I have had the opportunity to meet with him. It impresses everyone. And it says that Russia, as President Putin often states, does not abandon friends. Russia understands relations and how to act in international relations,” the President of Srpska stated.

He reminded that Russia is a witness to the signing of the Dayton Agreement, one of those who witnessed the historic event.

“Russia has remained in the same positions, a witness to what was signed, to the letter as it was written, unlike the USA, Britain, France, who have done everything to dismantle the Dayton Agreement,” Dodik conveyed.
