Miloš Lukić, the Acting Director of the “Official Gazette of Republika Srpska,” has assessed that prosecutors in the proceedings before the judicial bodies of BiH against him and the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, display a noticeable lack of competence and readiness, and they lack both arguments and knowledge.

Lukić stated that in the case of charges for disobeying decisions by Christian Schmidt, it seems to be a political process in which prosecutorial and judicial impartiality is not recognized.

He reiterated that it is legal nonsense for him and Dodik to be prosecuted simply for performing their duties, i.e., acting in accordance with their legal powers.

Lukić mentioned that in this process, there are no legal facts upon which the indictment is based, and the ultimate goal of certain domestic and international actors is to politically harm Dodik, who represents the interests of Srpska.

“Every step of the way, it is evident that this is misconduct and that this court was created to rule based on the political orders of some power centers, and everything else is irrelevant,” Lukić told ATV.

He emphasized that Srpska could, in some ways, be a European model of fighting against colonial administration, which, unfortunately, is also supported by political Sarajevo.

“The disgrace of political Sarajevo is their joy that a foreigner has come to their country to fight against their political opponents,” said Lukić.

He added that Republika Srpska, in these court processes and despite internal and external pressures, will prove its strength and resilience.

Lukić highlighted the need for unity to preserve Srpska and noted that this situation will demonstrate national unity in order to protect the Republic.

“I believe that at the end of this whole story, the losers will be exactly those who represent the colonial administration here,” Lukić concluded.
