Aleksandar Zobenica, an expert in political marketing and an observer of the situation between Russia and the Western Balkans, commented for “Novosti” on the public announcements regarding the initiation of RT broadcasting in BiH and Republika Srpska.
“The decision to expand RT’s broadcasting to the territory of Republika Srpska and BiH is exceptionally important, and we owe gratitude for this initiative to journalist Darinka Petrović, who officially initiated it by raising the question with President Putin at the annual press conference of the Russian head of state. RT is watched in the territory of BiH, mostly in Republika Srpska and in parts of the Federation where Serbs live.
It is of great significance that a part of the world countries that have access to RT’s programs and portals know what is happening in the territory of BiH and Republika Srpska because Western propaganda is so strong and constantly disseminates information that derogates Serbs as a nation and represents it in a bad light, trying in this way to prepare the ground for the unitarization of BiH, which Western countries have aspired to from the signing of the Dayton Agreement to this day.”
