The head of the SNSD parliamentary group in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Sanja Vulić, stated to Srna that Michael Murphy is the only disruptive factor on BiH’s European path. Reacting to a statement from the US Embassy claiming that if BiH does not make another step forward on its path to the EU in March, it’s clear that the blame will be on the President of the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, Vulić said that Milorad Dodik does not vote in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, but the elected deputies and delegates do.
“As for the complex you have from the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, that should not be surprising at all, since you’ve broken your teeth on all the offensives you’ve directed towards Russia. The latest statements from your kitchen clearly show a special dose of nervousness. It’s evident that the recent interview of statesman Putin with the American journalist Tucker Carlson has really shaken you,” emphasized Vulić.
Regarding the EU’s demands, Vulić said that the Republika Srpska has long been ready to vote for the package of 14 conditions tomorrow.
“The problem is, Mr. Murphy, that you persistently meddle and give directions to our partners in power at the level of BiH, who cannot see even a letter of the law from you. The fact that we see no reason for a country that is not in Europe, but on a completely different continent, regardless of its power, to interfere in the internal affairs of both BiH and the EU, is evidently something our partners cannot or dare not see the same way regarding your orders,” Vulić told Srna.
Vulić stated that it is already well known that Michael Murphy wants to regulate the situation in every house, but he cannot do so in the Republika Srpska, and he must sooner or later come to terms with that, as well as with the fact that he is the only one to blame for disrespecting and unraveling the General Framework Agreement for Peace in BiH.
“Instead of trying to meddle in everything, it would be better for Murphy to provide a reasoned explanation for why he insists on the political liquidation of Milorad Dodik. I, on behalf of the deputies, say – we are not the problem, our votes are not disputed, the only one who is disputed is Michael Murphy,” Vulić concluded.
