President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, expressed relief upon confirming that Michael Murphy is alive, accusing him of living in a parallel universe disconnected from the reality of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). Dodik conveyed his thoughts on the social network X, criticizing the US Ambassador for maintaining BiH’s colonial status and meddling in matters unrelated to them.

Dodik highlighted that the questions posed by the US Embassy do not concern them, as discussions about EU integration are held with EU institutions or their representatives in BiH. He criticized the US for attempting to undermine the continent by interfering in affairs that do not concern them and for trying to attribute the blame for the failure of BiH’s European path to him and Republika Srpska.

He further emphasized that Serbs are Europeans by nature, always have been, and sincerely wish to join the EU. Dodik stated that the US’s disapproval does not matter to them and that they have always insisted on respecting the Constitution, the Dayton Agreement, and fulfilling all conditions set by Europe.

Dodik accused the US and its allies of excluding partners with whom negotiations should be held and attempting to negotiate in their place. He assured that Republika Srpska and he are fully committed to the agreement, highlighting that the real problem lies with the partners who have been sidelined by the US.

Dodik stated that if BiH does not commence negotiations with the EU, the exclusive blame lies with the US and its puppets who were not allowed to make progress. He emphasized his obligation to engage and cooperate with all parties, assessing the interests of the electorate he represents, including deepening ties with the President of the Russian Federation.

Dodik concluded by urging the US not to wage their wars on their backs and not to impose standards on them that people in Texas would not accept. He called for partnership in seeking solutions rather than in their sabotage, cautioning the US to pay attention to what they sign in these times and not to confuse Moscow with Mostar in their pursuit of imposing senseless sanctions.
