Republika Srpska marks the Day of the Veterans of the Defense-Patriotic War of Republika Srpska, in which 23,752 members of the Army and police of Srpska lost their lives, and 220 years since the start of the First Serb Uprising.
The central commemoration will be held in Višegrad. A memorial service for the fallen fighters of the Defense-Patriotic War and the fallen insurgents will be served at the Dobrun Monastery. Flowers will be laid at the monument to Vožd Karađorđe.
Wreaths for the fallen soldiers of the Army of Republika Srpska will be laid at the Square of the Fallen Fighters in Višegrad, followed by a formal academy.
