Milorad Kojić, a member of the SNSD party in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, has submitted parliamentary questions to the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, inquiring whether measures have been taken to ensure the security of the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, upon his arrival for the main hearing. These measures pertain to the parking area of the Court and the external space within the Court of BiH’s premises, and if any measures have been taken, Kojić requested details on them.

Kojić pointed out that media reports have surfaced indicating that the security of the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, is compromised due to a lynching atmosphere created in the Federation of BiH, especially by certain extremist groups.

“The accuracy of this information was confirmed by the Minister of Security in the Council of Ministers, Nenad Nešić, who explained that, among other things, trees were cut down in front of the Court of BiH to provide a potential assassin with a clear view when the president arrives at the Court of BiH building,” Kojić emphasized in the rationale for his parliamentary question.

Given the above, Kojić stated that it is necessary to respond to the questions posed, and a written response should be provided in accordance with the deadline stipulated in Article 171 paragraph 2 of the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
