The hearing in the case against the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has been postponed to January 30.

Dodik’s defense requested the disqualification of Judge Mirsad Strika and seven other judges in this case.

For the first time since the beginning of the process, Dodik addressed the judges, urging them to “stop the proceedings if you want to preserve your dignity.”

Due to the health condition of the acting director of the Official Gazette, Miloš Lukić, who did not appear before the court today, the judge separated the proceedings against Dodik and Lukić.

It is emphasized that if Lukić’s health improves, the cases will be merged again.

The main trial in the case against Dodik and Lukić was supposed to begin on December 20, 2023, but it was postponed because Dodik’s legal team requested a change of venue from Sarajevo to Banja Luka.
