Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, and Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Višković held talks today in East Sarajevo with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Serbia, Miloš Vučević.
During the meeting at the Administrative Center of the Government of Republika Srpska, it was emphasized that institutional relations between Serbia and Republika Srpska are at the highest possible level. The results of the cooperation are visible through various joint projects implemented in almost all municipalities of Republika Srpska, as stated by the Office of the Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It was assessed that the preservation of peace and stability is a common goal and a prerequisite for the development and prosperity of Serbia and Republika Srpska.
The need for consistent respect for the Dayton Peace Agreement, the constitutional positions of all constituent nations, and various levels of authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina was highlighted, as stated in the announcement. The Ministry of Defense of Serbia announced that the meeting emphasized the importance of nurturing existing cooperation and strengthening ties between Serbia and Republika Srpska, which remain priorities in the coming period.
The announcement further adds that the significance of peace and stability for development and progress in the coming years was once again emphasized, and discussions took place on current topics in the region as well as issues of mutual interest.
