Dean of the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka (AU UNIBL) prof. Dr. Dragana Purković Macan and the director of the Federal State Budget Institution of Culture of the National Drama Theater of Russia – Alexandrinsky Theater Sergej Vitalievich Yemeljanov signed an agreement on cooperation between the two institutions on January 10, 2024.
The agreement signed at the UNIBL Rectorate, among other things, foresees the strengthening of cooperation in the field of theater arts. As stated, in the next two years, and as long as the agreement with the Aleksandrinski Theater lasts, joint work will be done on the organization and holding of creative meetings, round tables, conferences, and other educational events with prominent artists from the field of creative industries, literature and other forms culture.
The signing of the agreement was attended by the rector of our university, Prof. Dr. Radoslav Gajanin, director of the National Theater of the Republika Srpska Dijana Grbić, and representative of the Aleksandrinski Theater Danil Tolmačev, as well as advisor for scientific, educational and cultural cooperation of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Bosnia and Herzegovina Yuri Picugin. This visit of guests from St. Petersburg was also an opportunity to discuss other forms of cooperation.
