President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik’s defense team has not received a decision from the Chief Prosecutor regarding the request to disqualify four acting prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stated President’s defender Goran Bubić.

Bubić, during the hearing on December 20, requested the disqualification of prosecutors due to an alleged lack of impartiality in the case, making the disqualification requests pertinent.

The hearing was postponed after requests were made to disqualify prosecutors Nedim Ćosić, Nives Kanevčev, Biljana Golijanin, and Gordana Bosiljčić..

Judge Mirsad Strika of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has set the next hearing for January 17.

President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and acting director of the “Official Gazette” Miloš Lukić are facing charges of contempt for Kristijan Šmit’s decisions.

Dodik and Lukić, during the court session on October 16, expressed their confusion about the indictment, following which it was noted that the accused had pleaded not guilty.
