Banjac: Due to the great hurry, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina can register for Formula One races.

Darko Banjac, the president of the People’s Party of Republika Srpska, stated to Srna that due to the great haste of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, they might enter “Formula One” races because there has never been a quicker hearing and trial, as in the case of the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, for non-compliance with the decisions of Christian Schmidt.

Banjac emphasized that the refusal of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to postpone the hearing for President Dodik is another confirmation that it is a political, not a legal process. He stressed that Republika Srpska should fight against it with political unity.

He highlighted that what some parts of the international community and some Western countries tried and hoped would happen in the elections did not occur. Dodik gained the trust of citizens and the people by becoming the president of Republika Srpska, expressing the unity of all institutions of Republika Srpska in line with constitutional powers, Banjac emphasized.

Banjac pointed out that the problem is not only that the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina are not a constitutional category but also that they operate under a law imposed by a natural person who cannot do so under any legal act. He raised the question of what will happen in the future from a legal perspective with people who have agreed to such persecution.
He emphasized that the verdict is already written in the offices of some embassies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“Hats off to President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik because such persecution, not only against him but his entire family, is unprecedented in these areas,” said Banjac.
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina stated yesterday that there would be no postponement of the hearing in the case against Dodik and the acting director of the “Official Gazette of Republika Srpska,” Miloš Lukić, as requested by the defense, but the trial will take place tomorrow.
