“The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has rejected the appeal of the defense of the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, for the transfer of the trial to the competent court in Banja Luka,” said lawyer Goran Bubić to RTRS.

“We are expecting a decision on the delegation proposal from December 11, which was requested for different reasons compared to the earlier proposal, the reasons for which the media was previously informed. That concerns the potential vengeful atmosphere in court due to numerous statements by President Dodik about the unconstitutionality of the Court of BiH and the demand for its abolition,” emphasized Bubić.

He highlighted that the defense of the President of Srpska has received a summons for the hearing on December 20.

Bubić mentioned that today the defense will submit a proposal to the Court to postpone the new date because the Court has not made a decision on the second proposal from December 11.

“We have sent an urgent request to the Court to decide on the second proposal,” said Bubić.
