“President of the Association of Camp Inmates of Republika Srpska, Anđelko Nosović, stated that it is urgently necessary to relieve Vice President of the Municipality Assembly of Bratunac, Vehid Dedić, of his duties, as he publicly admitted to being a member of the ‘El Mujahideen’ unit, which committed horrific crimes against the Serb people.
Dedić spoke to a Sarajevo television about his participation in the war, which he entered as a minor to ‘defend Bosnia and Herzegovina from aggression.’ He mentioned being part of the ‘El Mujahideen’ unit stationed in Ozren.
Nosović assessed that, unfortunately, Dedić is not the only one, noting the existence of individuals and commanders of units who committed crimes against Serb in Ozren and other locations, yet received positions in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He questioned whether there are any Serb in positions in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina or Croatia who fought in Serb formations.
‘They do not acknowledge the crimes committed against Serb in Bratunac and that region, although it is well known what Naser Orić did in those areas,’ Nosović added.”
