Sloga players impress with gesture after match at Pecara Stadium

Sloga Doboj players left an excellent impression at Pecara Stadium, not only with their performance on the pitch but also with their conduct after the match.

The dressing room used by the Doboj team during their away match against Siroki Brijeg was left clean and tidy after the game.

The gesture attracted attention as a positive example of sportsmanship and respect for the hosts, with Sloga explaining that they simply wanted to return the dressing room in the same condition in which they had found it.

Radoslav Ristic, Sloga Meridian’s official representative at the match, explained the decision.

“Before the match, we were given a clean and tidy dressing room. It was only right that we returned it in the same condition. Of course, most of the credit goes to our kit manager Danijel Vasic, who did an excellent job with the equipment, the dressing room, and everything else,” Ristic said.

The Doboj club’s dressing room was therefore left completely clean and tidy after the match, providing an example of respect toward the host club.

Although it may seem like a small gesture, actions like this demonstrate that sporting rivalry does not have to extend beyond the pitch.

Respect for the hosts, opponents, and facilities used during a match is one of the ways clubs can demonstrate sportsmanship regardless of the result or events on the field.

Sloga opened the season away to Siroki Brijeg, with the match ending in a goalless 0-0 draw.

The Doboj side therefore left Pecara Stadium not only with a point but also with a gesture that attracted attention beyond the result itself.
