German Ambassador Alfred Grannas either cannot read or is deliberately lying, President Milorad Dodik said.
“The PIC is an invented body and has absolutely no role in the selection, appointment, or confirmation of the High Representative. The High Representative is selected by the parties that signed the Dayton Peace Agreement and confirmed by the UN Security Council. That is what Annex 10 of the Dayton Peace Agreement says. What is so difficult to understand about that, Mr. Ambassador?” Dodik wrote on X.
Dodik said that Grannas and certain other ambassadors had taken advantage of circumstances to assume powers that did not belong to them, but that such a period was now over.
“You came to Sarajevo to represent Germany, not to govern Bosnia and Herzegovina. Stick to that and stop deceiving and lying to the public,” Dodik wrote.
