The inaugural TOK Fest – Rural Tourism, Hunting and Fishing Fair will take place in Mrkonjić Grad on September 26–27, 2026, bringing together exhibitors and visitors to promote the natural beauty, traditions, and tourism potential of the Krajina region.
The event will be held at the Nova Banka Arena, with organizers expecting a large number of participants from Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and neighbouring countries.
The fair will feature a diverse range of exhibitors, including tourism organizations, hunting and fishing associations, rural households, traditional craftspeople, women’s associations, food and beverage producers, as well as suppliers of outdoor, hunting, and fishing equipment.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore Krajina’s authentic offerings, from traditional cuisine and locally made products to opportunities for outdoor recreation, nature-based tourism, and active holidays.
According to the organizers, the primary objective of TOK Fest is to establish Mrkonjić Grad and the wider Krajina region as one of the leading destinations for rural tourism, hunting, and recreational fishing in Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
They note that the region’s abundant natural resources, rich traditions, welcoming hospitality, and growing interest in outdoor tourism provide a strong foundation for attracting both domestic and international visitors.
The first TOK Fest is organized by the Krajina Agricultural Cluster in cooperation with the Municipality of Mrkonjić Grad and the Tourist Organization of Mrkonjić Grad, under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Republika Srpska, with Nova Banka serving as the general sponsor.
Organizers say they intend for TOK Fest to become an annual event that will contribute to the long-term development of rural and active tourism while further promoting the tourism potential of the Krajina region.
