Dodik: Everything in Bosnia and Herzegovina is distorted, it is a failed country

Milorad Dodik said that everything in Bosnia and Herzegovina is “distorted” and described the country as a failed state, speaking on a TV news program.

Dodik stated that Republika Srpska demonstrates institutional strength, highlighting that the government has been confirmed multiple times, which he sees as proof of political stability and a clear parliamentary majority.

He emphasized that only stable governing structures can repeatedly confirm authority and maintain continuity, despite what he described as political opposition attempting to create instability.

Dodik also criticized political opponents for, as he claims, engaging in initiatives at the state level that could transfer competencies away from Republika Srpska, particularly referencing discussions on excise taxes.

According to him, revenues from excise duties belong to Republika Srpska, while attempts to present the Council of Ministers as a “government” are, in his view, incorrect.

He added that fuel prices in Republika Srpska are currently among the lowest in the region, noting that excise duties are already relatively low compared to neighboring countries.

Dodik concluded by stating that the Government of Republika Srpska has full parliamentary support, which he described as essential for political stability.
