The first performance to be held at the Milanović House, the powerful, intimate, and gripping psychological monodrama Dangerous Dance, will be staged on Friday, March 6, at 8:00 p.m.
The play is based on motifs from The Stronger by August Strindberg, presented in a contemporary, bold, and emotionally stripped-down interpretation. The lead role is performed by Jelena Jandrić, directed by Sonja Jovandić, and produced by Sonet Production.
“This dynamic monodrama takes the audience on a true emotional rollercoaster—through passion, rivalry, power, vulnerability, and moments where the boundaries between strength and weakness dissolve. The intimate, chamber setting further intensifies the experience, erasing the distance between the stage and the audience. A distinctive layer is added by live music, which shapes the atmosphere and the rhythm of inner conflicts,” the statement from Sonet Production reads.
Dangerous Dance opens themes of identity, rivalry, inner struggle, and the need to be seen and recognized. It speaks particularly powerfully about the position of women—about quiet strength, suppressed emotions, the fight for one’s voice, and personal truth. This is a play that does not merely raise questions, but also empowers.
Tickets priced at 15 KM can be purchased at the Milanović House on the day of the performance, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Seating is limited, and reservations are mandatory, via phone at 065/023-497 or by message on the Instagram page sonet.produkcija.
