On the occasion of marking Sretenje – Statehood Day of Serbia and Republika Srpska, the monodrama “Milunka”, dedicated to the heroine of the First World War, Milunka Savić, was performed in Prijedor. This performance is the first in a series of events with which the Association for the Preservation of Tradition is marking an anniversary.
Actress Vesna Stanković from Belgrade performed the monodrama “Milunka”, dedicated to the Serb heroine of the Balkan Wars. Milunka Savić is the most decorated woman in military history; she was wounded nine times in battle, which makes the role different and especially demanding.
Ten years of existence, the Association for the Preservation of Tradition is marking this year with a series of events.
In addition to performances on the domestic stage, the Association for the Preservation of Tradition will visit a festival in Paris this year.
