“Blagojevich: support for General Flynn—review the Dayton Agreement and allow Srpska to determine its own future”

“I fully support the recommendation recently made by retired U.S. General Michael Flynn, proposing that the Dayton Agreement and the foundations of the NATO charter be reviewed,” Rod Blagojevich, one of the closest associates of the U.S. President and a former governor, told RTRS.

“Blagojevich recalled that General Flynn argues that circumstances in Europe today are very different from those of the 1990s, when the Dayton Peace Agreement was signed, and that the consequences of what has happened in the meantime have placed Serbs and Republika Srpska in an untenable position.”

“‘The threat they face from political Sarajevo deprives them of the right to autonomy and the right of the Serb people to self-determination, self-government, and the right to the Serb Orthodox faith,’ Blagojevich stated.”

“He emphasized that he is grateful to General Flynn for his support.”

“‘I am grateful for his knowledge, expertise, and influence here in America, especially with the Trump administration, as well as for the fact that he has joined us in supporting efforts to make Republika Srpska a place that is not only autonomous, but also protects the right of the Serb people to choose their leaders in free and fair elections, to honor their God, the Serb Orthodox faith, and to determine their own future—rather than having things imposed on them by political Sarajevo. Therefore, thank you, General Flynn. May God bless you all! Only unity saves the Serbs!’ Blagojevich emphasized.”
