“Diplomatic activities of Srpska continue with visits to Israel, Hungary, and now the United States”

“With the visit to the United States, the diplomatic activities of Republika Srpska are continuing.”

“Following visits to Israel and Hungary, where the Srpska delegation met with Prime Ministers Benjamin Netanyahu and Viktor Orbán and clearly presented its position, similar messages are expected in Washington.”

“Speaking about the attacks Republika Srpska is facing, SNSD leader Milorad Dodik also addressed these issues in an interview for the Jerusalem Post.”

“He sharply criticized the growing antisemitism in Europe, noting that Sarajevo and the political institutions of Bosnian Muslims are not lagging behind in this regard.”

“He also repeatedly drew parallels between Israel and Republika Srpska, presenting both nations as being under constant political, legal, and ideological pressure from Europe and international institutions.”

“From Jerusalem, through Budapest, to Washington—three continents and three highly important political centers where Republika Srpska is fighting, and will continue to fight, for its position and status.”

“Dodik spoke about this as well in an interview for the Jerusalem Post, emphasizing that there are many parallels between Israel and Republika Srpska.”

“‘If we do not have our own state, we do not have freedom. Jews without Israel, and Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina without Republika Srpska,’ Dodik said.”

“‘Israel and we have learned that if we allow ourselves to become a colony, there will be nothing left of us. That is why I am very proud of Israel, just as I am proud of my Republika Srpska—because it is persistent, because it fights, because it does not give up, because it continually fights for the truth, which alone can prevail,’ Dodik said.”

“During all the key meetings held in recent days, messages of understanding were expressed regarding the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the position of Srpska, as well as its struggle to preserve its constitutional status.”

“‘We informed our friends that Republika Srpska is facing an institutional attack, primarily through institutions at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which results in the erosion of the Dayton Peace Agreement, the destabilization of Republika Srpska, and the maximum abuse of one people acting against a constituent people—the Serb people,’ noted Željko Budimir, Minister of the Interior and professor of international relations.”

“With that objective, the SNSD leader is also traveling to the United States. Dodik previously announced that he will have important meetings in Washington and that he will attend the National Prayer Breakfast organized by the U.S. President.”

“‘These are very important messages, showing that what is being done from Sarajevo and by their political sponsors is not even a general position in the West. The lifting of sanctions demonstrates that he is not considered outside the law—on the contrary. The invitation to the National Prayer Breakfast is yet another confirmation of that,’ emphasized political analyst Aleksandar Pavić.”

“And it was not so long ago that representatives of political Sarajevo declared the former president of Republika Srpska ‘politically dead.’”

“There was celebration over an unconstitutional verdict and the undemocratic stripping of a mandate. Today, some are facing reality.”

“‘We were told that someone would bulldoze Dodik away. Here is Dodik—within five or seven days meeting with Orbán, who is a major political figure, whether we like him or not. Orbán is a major figure. A man who regularly meets with Putin. A man who attends the National Prayer Breakfast. A man with connections to Trump. Can you really say that such a person is politically dead?’ asked Fahrudin Radončić, leader of the Alliance for a Better Future of Bosnia and Herzegovina.”

“And this is not where it ends. After returning from the United States, Milorad Dodik and Srpska officials are also expected to travel to the Russian Federation—alongside Serbia, one of the most important strategic partners of Republika Srpska.”
