Tadić: If government decisions were deemed invalid, then so would be the Constitutional Court’s rulings involving Palavrić and Ćeman

If, on the basis of the decision of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the appointment of the first Government of Republika Srpska led by Savo Minić, all of that government’s decisions were to be considered invalid due to the allegedly disputed manner of its election, then all decisions of the Constitutional Court adopted with the participation of Seada Palavrić and Mirsad Ćeman after they had turned 70 would also have to be considered invalid, because the decision extending judges’ mandates is clearly unconstitutional, said legal expert Ognjen Tadić.

“That would then include the very decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH that challenges the appointment of Minić’s first government. That, in a nutshell, is Bosnia and Herzegovina—and the rule of law within it,” Tadić wrote on X.
