Netanyahu’s brother donates books to Banja Luka school

A delegation from Israel, led by Ido Netanyahu, brother of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, visited Ivo Andrić Elementary School in Banja Luka on October 20 and donated 50 books to enrich the school’s library collection.

The school’s principal, Jelena Stanišić, expressed her gratitude for the generous donation, noting that it represents a valuable contribution to the school’s ongoing campaign “Renew Andrić”.

“We’ve been working to restore and expand our library fund, and this donation is an important support. It means a lot that the public recognizes the effort and commitment of Ivo Andrić School. Throughout the year, we’ve been running initiatives like ‘Renew the Ivo Andrić School’ and ‘Andrić for Andrić’ to enrich our collection for both teachers and students,” Stanišić said.

She added that the visit of the Israeli delegation was a great honor for the school.

“This donation fits perfectly into our efforts to rebuild the school library. Every book that arrives finds its way into the hands of our students and teachers. We are deeply grateful for the support and attention shown to us today,” Stanišić concluded.
