President of the SNSD and Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, said that the ruling coalition is committed to pursuing a responsible and stable policy, seeking dialogue with those willing to hear the voice of Republika Srpska. He made the statement at a press conference following a coalition meeting in Banja Luka.
“We discussed the current situation in Srpska and the upcoming two special sessions of the National Assembly. One will address the appointment of the acting president,” Dodik explained.
He noted that part of the Bosniak political establishment, supported by certain Western European sponsors, continues to push policies aimed at undermining Republika Srpska.
“The second special session concerns the laws adopted by the National Assembly in recent months. Many now admit that Bosnia and Herzegovina is a colony, governed from the shadows by political power centers. The benefits of our actions will be seen with time — perhaps not tomorrow, but that time will come,” Dodik said.
According to Dodik, the main source of instability in Bosnia and Herzegovina is Christian Schmidt, whose interference, combined with Sarajevo’s unwillingness to engage in dialogue with Republika Srpska, has deepened divisions.
“They tried to impose their will as the only valid one,” he stated.
Dodik concluded that Republika Srpska’s leadership must continue to seek reliable partners and interlocutors, emphasizing that the coalition parties act responsibly and with clear political arguments in defense of Srpska’s constitutional rights.
