The Brdo-Brijuni Process Summit, bringing together leaders from the Western Balkans, is being held today in Durrës, Albania. At the invitation of the presidents of Albania, Croatia, and Slovenia, the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, is participating in the meeting of this regional initiative.
In addition to Cvijanović and the Croat and Bosniak members of the BiH Presidency, Željko Komšić and Denis Bećirović, the summit also includes the presidents of Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and the self-proclaimed Kosovo.
The main topic of discussion is the European perspective of the Western Balkans, with a particular focus on the region’s Growth Plan. A joint declaration is also expected to be signed during the summit.
