Milan Petković, MP of United Srpska in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, stated that he expects EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos and ambassadors to listen to all sides in BiH, and not to come here having already taken positions based solely on the views of Bosniak politicians.
He noted that one cannot speak of extra-constitutional institutions when neither the Constitutional Court nor any other court has taken a stance on the matter, adding that any such qualifications would represent interference in the internal affairs of a country.
“Bosniak politicians present only the theses that suit them,” Petković said, emphasizing that he expects European diplomats, when they come to BiH, to at least help overcome crises, not deepen them further.
He reminded that on Wednesday, September 24, Kos will come to the Parliamentary Assembly.
“I believe that Serb representatives should attend that meeting, and if given the opportunity, speak directly to her and to the ambassadors of European countries, and tell them face to face exactly how things stand,” Petković stated.
