President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik emphasized that Banja Luka lit candles tonight in honor of the slain Charlie Kirk, sending a quiet yet powerful message that compassion and humanity know no borders.
Dodik stressed that in this difficult moment, the Serb people share the pain of Charlie’s family and of all those who uphold the same values, underlining that hatred can never overcome the unity of good people.
“Charlie Kirk was a true friend of the Serb people and an advocate of the shared values of freedom and faith that bind us together,” Dodik wrote on the social network X.
Charlie Kirk, one of the key allies of U.S. President Donald Trump, succumbed to his injuries after being shot during a lecture at Utah Valley University on September 10.
