“Let us remain united, as important days are ahead of us. The first is the referendum – which we will hold, and which is crucial for the path of our freedom. It must take place when the National Assembly has prescribed it. I am convinced that our people will respond in that way,” said Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik in front of the Palace of the Republic, where the Serb tricolor was raised on the Day of Serb Unity.
“You are the ones who will be the decisive working force at that referendum, and do not give up. You will be informed through the media and by what the leadership of Srpska will do in the coming days,” Dodik emphasized.
He pointed out that today Srpska is in a stronger position than ever before.
“Today, Srpska has more friends abroad than it has ever had, today Srpska has more people who understand us than ever before. We fight every day. Some important people give me the strength to do so, and together with you, they are my commitment, my strength, and my resistance—everything I need. Long live Republika Srpska, long live Serbia, long live the Serb people, and may Republika Srpska walk the path of its freedom and development. May you all live and be in good health,” Dodik concluded.
