Athletes from Brčko’s athletics club Maraton delivered a standout performance at the Bosnia and Herzegovina Championship held this weekend, winning a total of six medals — four of them gold.
Mlađen Samardžić is the new national champion in the 1,500-meter race, setting a new personal best of 3:51.40, and also took the title in the 5,000-meter race with a new Republika Srpska record of 14:40.00.
Voislav Grubiša successfully defended his title in the discus throw, while Stefan Stanković retained his title as BiH triple jump champion and secured third place in the long jump.
