Relations between Republika Srpska and Russia are based on strong friendship and trust, maintained through dialogue with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, said the Governor of Saint Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, during a meeting with the delegation of Republika Srpska led by President Milorad Dodik.
“Our support for Srpska remains firm. We understand the difficulties you face and the challenges you are going through,” he emphasized.
He also conveyed messages from the President of Russia, who expressed confidence and hope that all difficulties in Srpska will be overcome.
“We highly value the fact that Bosnia and Herzegovina did not accept the sanctions against the Russian Federation. Despite all the challenges, we continue to expand our cooperation,” said Beglov.
During the meeting with the Governor of Saint Petersburg, the President of Republika Srpska expressed his gratitude for Russia’s continued support for Republika Srpska.
As a reminder, President Milorad Dodik met with Governor Alexander Beglov of Saint Petersburg.
The delegation of Republika Srpska also includes Minister of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education Željko Budimir, Minister of Trade and Tourism Denis Šulić, Minister of Health and Social Welfare Alen Šeranić, and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac.
