Bringing together enthusiasts of culture, literature, and education, the Association of Poles in Banja Luka organized a roundtable titled “Cultural Heritage as Inspiration”, held at the “Cepter Palace” hotel.
On this occasion, the second edition of the book “The Story of the Princess of Banja Luka” by author Aleksandra Savić was presented, and participants discussed topics connecting culture, tourism, and literature, the school curriculum and the position of national minorities, as well as the symbolism of the fairy tale’s title and the city itself.
Special attention was given to the ties between Poland and our country.
The event also included the promotion of the audiobook “The Story of the Princess of Banja Luka”, published by the Special Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired, as well as the presentation of the results of three-month-long workshops held in the children’s day centers “Učionica,” “Školica,” and “Korak po korak.”
The event also showcased the plan and curriculum for integrated teaching developed by Tanja Kremenović.
This activity was implemented as part of the project “Promotion of the Identity of the Polish National Minority and the Cultural Potential of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” funded by the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
