“I am honored to have been invited to the 13th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues, which is being held in Moscow, and I will be pleased to be among the first to address the conference,” said the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, in a statement to RTRS.
“My message will reflect our own experience and the importance of security — how crucial it is to have a foundation of stable security. It is very important that Republika Srpska is participating in this forum and that its voice is heard,” said the president.
He emphasized that the Russian Federation values gathering people who work in the field of security.
“One of the most important global questions is how to ensure a stable security environment, and that is only possible if there is dialogue between countries and peoples,” Dodik stated.
He added that this will be an opportunity to speak about what is happening in the Balkans, especially in Bosnia and Herzegovina, “where there are attempts to exploit the situation through imposition, by which the Western world tries to rule the entire planet — a strategy that has proven to be very unsuccessful.”
“We are seeing changes with the arrival of President Donald Trump’s administration. We are witnesses that wherever a conflict arises, new technologies are being used. At the security conference, I will also express my personal concern about the ongoing arms race we are witnessing. It will be an opportunity for a special meeting with the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Sergei Shoigu, where I will present all the relevant details,” Dodik concluded.
