President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik informed Israeli Minister of Finance Zeev Elkin this evening about the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina during their meeting. Dodik also stated that there is a growing trend of antisemitism in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to Marko Romić, advisor to the President of Republika Srpska.
“The president of Srpska said there is increasing pressure on Christians in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as signs of radical Islam,” Romić noted.
Romić emphasized that the Serb and Israeli peoples are engaged in a common struggle—only in different parts of the world.
“Dodik and Elkin also discussed the official visit of the president of Srpska to Israel, as well as his participation in the International Conference on Antisemitism, which will also be attended by Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,” Romić said.
He added that President Dodik shared with the minister his impressions after visiting Kibbutz Be’eri and speaking with one of the survivors of the horrific terrorist attack.
