Prosecutor’s Office sends new summons to Dodik

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH sent a new summons to Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik yesterday, after 1 PM, requesting his appearance for questioning as part of an investigation against him for alleged criminal offenses related to attacking the constitutional order.

According to the Raport portal, the new date on which the Prosecutor’s Office expects Dodik to appear is March 12.

This is reportedly the final deadline set by the Prosecutor’s Office for the President of Srpska, who stated yesterday that he had not received the previous summons.

If Dodik refuses to appear again, Raport claims that the Prosecutor’s Office will request his arrest. Should that not be executed, they will proceed with a proposal for detention and the issuance of a warrant.

The Sarajevo-based portal, citing unofficial sources from the Prosecutor’s Office, alleges that “the situation with Dodik will be resolved this week.”

Meanwhile, the Prosecutor’s Office has also summoned Nenad Stevandić, President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, for questioning today at 11 AM. Stevandić confirmed that he received the summons but stated that he would not comply due to previously scheduled obligations.
