Tadić on the trial against the president of Srpska

Tadić on the trial against the president of Srpska

Closing arguments in the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina case against the president of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the acting director of “Službeni glasnik”, Miloš Lukić, for allegedly disobeying the decision of Christian Schmidt, are set to be presented tomorrow. What has this trial revealed?

Legal expert Ognjen Tadić stated on RTRS Morning Program that tomorrow will be a historic day, emphasizing the crucial importance of every closing argument.

“The message from Republika Srpska is that this process should be halted, and that would be the best solution to this situation,” Tadić stated.

He recalled the meeting of Srpska’s top officials, highlighting its significance.

“They have coordinated their strategy, and their decision is to remain in continuous session if a guilty verdict is issued,” said Tadić.

Tadić stressed that the only solution is to end the legal violence against the legal order of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska, and President Dodik.

  • “How did we get here? That is a question for political Sarajevo. They have been pushing this agenda all along. There is a persistent campaign by political Sarajevo to define Bosnia and Herzegovina solely based on their views, disregarding what others say,” Tadić noted.

He pointed out that the goal of political Sarajevo is to undermine the equality of peoples and entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

  • “They aim to impose their will through certain institutions, in this case, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We have Judge Sena Uzunović, who was part of the so-called Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and she claims to be defending BiH, while President Milorad Dodik, who respects the Constitution of Republika Srpska and the Constitution of BiH, is portrayed as an adversary,” Tadić emphasized.

He asserted that Judge Uzunović is fully aware of the implications of her ruling.

  • “We are now at a crossroads—either political Sarajevo faces consequences, or we turn a blind eye to everything. But if we choose indifference, any one of us could be next,” concluded Tadić.
