President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik stated at a press conference following meetings between officials from Republika Srpska and Serbia, held to mark Statehood Day of Srpska and Serbia – Sretenje, that the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina is being used to suppress Srpska and all those who oppose the centralization of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- “We are engaged in a political struggle here, and everyone who resists the centralization of Bosnia and Herzegovina is being prosecuted. The situation is becoming unbearable, and we will actively respond, including through the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, to defend our rights as outlined in the Dayton Peace Agreement,” Dodik stated.
He added that the Dayton Peace Agreement was dismantled by the previous U.S. administration and official Brussels.
Dodik emphasized that the international community has ignored the fact that Serbia is a guarantor of the Dayton Agreement, while involving countries such as Canada in the process.
- “We will continue our political efforts to reaffirm our rights acquired through an international treaty. If this is not possible, then this distorted version of Bosnia and Herzegovina is unacceptable for us, and we will make that clear in the coming period,” Dodik concluded.
