The newly appointed president of FK Leotar, Slavko Duper, stated that the main goal for the remainder of the season is to stabilize the team and address infrastructure issues.
At the beginning of preparations, Leotar had 16 players in training, and a new head coach, Vlado Jagodić, is expected to arrive later this week.
“We are awaiting the arrival of the new head coach soon, and we will work together on forming the squad according to his vision for the upcoming period. In the spring part of the season, we aim to stabilize the first team and establish a core squad that can compete for promotion to the Premier League in the coming seasons. It is also crucial for us to improve working conditions for both senior and youth categories, with special emphasis on youth development.
Next Monday, we expect the arrival of a specialized company to complete work on the artificial turf field in the military barracks, which will further enhance our training conditions,” Duper emphasized.
