The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has scheduled the main hearing in the criminal case against the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and the acting director of the Official Gazette of Srpska, Miloš Lukić, for Wednesday, January 29, according to lawyer Goran Bubić.
Bubić stated that witnesses Professor Siniša Karan and Slavko Mitrović, an advisor to President Dodik, have been summoned to testify at the hearing.
The main hearing is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
Bubić previously noted that the defense for the president has requested that the trial against Dodik and Lukić restart due to the expiration of the 30-day period since the last hearing. He explained that once this period expires, if there is no mutual agreement between the parties involved, the evidence must be reintroduced from the beginning.
President Dodik underwent surgery on December 9 in Belgrade.
Dodik and Lukić are being tried for “non-compliance with the decisions of Christian Schmidt.”
