The second-division team of Republika Srpska, FK Guber from Srebrenica, will celebrate its centennial tomorrow with a series of activities. Starting at 2:00 PM, former players and past board members will gather at the “Vidikovac” stadium to tour the field and club facilities. At 3:00 PM, an exhibition of photographs by Marinko Sekulić will take place at the Cultural Center.
Anniversary ceremony
- The official ceremony and Assembly meeting will begin at 4:00 PM in the main hall of the Srebrenica Cultural Center. The program will open with FK Guber’s anthem, followed by a slideshow presentation of the club’s history.
- The event will feature speeches, including one from the Mayor of Srebrenica, Miloš Vučić. Performances by the “Vaso Jovanović” Cultural and Artistic Society from Srebrenica and the “Ludmer” choir from Bratunac will follow.
Book launch and recognition
After the introductory program, the book “100 Years of Football in Srebrenica”, authored by Radomir Pavlović and Nada Vasić, will be officially launched.
- Throughout its century-long history, many individuals have contributed to the survival of the club and football in this region. In recognition of their efforts, golden plaques will be awarded to the most deserving contributors, emphasized Zekerijah Talić, a member of FK Guber’s Board of Directors.
